Roller is a migrating species spending it’s wintering period on South- and Central-Africa. Wintering places of the Carpathian Basin’s population are not known yet but according to the Hungarian ringed birds which were recaptured in abroad probably the Hungarian Rollers migrate across the Balkan Peninsula to the South-East.
